My daughter (just an observer) and I went on Thursday to our local donation center on Dick Road in Cheektowaga. They have walk in hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those of you who haven't gone before, the process is quick! You answer some questions, get a blood pressure check, a little finger prick and then give blood. It usually takes less than 10 minutes for the actual donating part. You can learn more about the process here.
