Bright Birthday Cookies

Celebrate your birthday with bright super colorful cookies!  Sure, it takes a gallon of food coloring to achieve to those neon colors, but boy do they stand out!

The bowling cookies even have edible sparkle for the birthday girl!  The sparkles don't always show up great in photos, but in person they really shine.

Mermaid and Unicorn Cookies

I could never get tired of making Mermaids and Unicorns!  There are a million different ways to make these beauties.  Keep those mermaid and unicorn requests coming!  These cute mermaids were inspired by artwork from LookLookPrettyPaper Be sure to check out her etsy shop for some beautiful clip art!

The mermaid cookies were made using the wet on wet royal icing technique and then outlining details in black once dried.  I used black airbrush color with a fine brush to pain on details. 

 

Our unicorns for one of my favorite little people are covered in 100% EDIBLE GOLD GLITTER!!!!  They really shine (it's hard to capture on camera.)

Garden Party Cookies

Florals in peaches, pinks and purples topped off with gold accents and edible glitter!  I am in love.  This floral set could easily be adapted for so many events; bridal showers, birthdays, weddings...

The flower accents are made from royal icing.  To acheive the semi watercolor finish, I brushed on coordinating food color diluted with water.   The edible glitter (aka sparkle) is 100% edible FDA approved Jewel Dust.
