Most Requested Cookies 2017

Which cookies do get asked to do over and over again?  The Twinkle, Twinkle set.  I made them EVERY SINGLE MONTH in 2017.  I've made them in pale pink, hot pink, gold, silver, peach, and even navy.  But, no one has EVER asked for blue.  Are there no baby boys out there?  Can someone please have a shower or birthday and request these in blue?  I would love to make a baby blue set!  I wish I had taken photos of each color to make a neato photo collage, but alas I did not.

Coming in at a close second, Daniel Tiger cookies.  I had no idea this show was so popular!  It looks like it's going to be just as popular in 2018 as I already have 3 sets coming up!

Summer Catch Up Post 1

I have really been enjoying Summer with my family (in between cookies and cakes of course!)  So much so that I haven't been neglecting my page - yikes!  I'll be working on new tutorials for the Fall season, but until then - here's a look at what yummy treats have been keeping me busy:

Top photo:  Lobsters, Lemon and Corn on the Cob  Apparently, they have a Lobster picnic every year - how cool is that?  I wasn't invited, so I'm a bit sad, but I really feel like that's a tradition I can get behind.  Love the lobsta!!!!!

 Poker Chips and Aces cookies. 

 My most challenging set of the Summer- incorporating Military, Patriotic, and Lineman themes.  ....and then make 200 of them :)

 Good ol' Hot Wheels and Barbie.  Feeling very nostalgic.

 I've made a similar set of these Baptism cookies before, but this time it was for twinsies!

Birthday Cookie Catch Up

Here are some Birthday cookies from the past few months.  I love that there are sooo many options out there to choose from!  

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?  Cookies inspired by the children's book.  These cookies are simply hand painted using food coloring.

Wild One cookies were actually part of the same birthday set.   These can be done in any color scheme!

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood Cookies included a mix of piped, painted and edible images!

Fire Truck Birthday Cookies: I just realized this whole post is FILLED with BRIGHT REDS!  Here's another set that combines piped and hand painted cookies. 

An finally a fun, Fall themed birthday set: PERSONALIZED Monster Pumpkins!  Eyes were made in advance as royal icing transfers.  Personalized cookies are always a hit!  Each child gets a special cookie made just for them!
