What can you get with $20?

I've mentioned before that we are a one income family.  This comes with it's challenges and money is always tight (especially when you own a fixer upper), but my husband recently injured his knee and has been unable to work.  Yikes!  That meant a serious cut in "extra" expenses this week.  Lucky for us, I LOVE to coupon.  I have a significant stockpile of items we use daily; soaps, laundry detergent, diapers, pantry foods and frozen foods.  

Since we didn't really know what would be happening with his paycheck in the coming weeks, I decided to rely on that stockpile and NOT make any large purchases.  Of course, we needed some dairy items and actually ran out of sugar!  Ok, so my plan was: Spend $20 on ALL shopping for the week.  Here's how I did:
