Dinner for 4 for less than $1

It is always fun to look through the freezer and cupboards to see what I can whip up for dinner with the items I've been saving on.  Tonight I went with Ham Casserole and steamed green beans.  This meal cost less than $1.00!  What I used:

McCain Purely Potatoes Peeled/Sliced = FREE after coupons & SavingStar rebate

Ham approx 1/2 lb frozen leftovers from Easter = $0.64

Tops Shredded Cheddar Cheese = FREE included in Tops Meal Deal 4/29

Earthbound Farm Organic Carrots = FREE after printable coupon here 

Panko Breadcrumbs = FREE after coupon a few months ago

Fresh Steamable Green Beans = FREE incluced in Tops Meal Deal 

1 small Onion = FREE included in previous Tops Meal Deal

1 Stick Land O Lakes Butter = $0.25 after coupon last month


The Purely Potatoes are nice because it actually cuts out a step and the Panko breadcrumbs give it an extra crisp topping!  Very yummy.   I don't always do the meal deals at Tops, but this week I needed the chicken anyway so I was able to pick up those freebies. 

Total Cost for Meal $0.89!
