It's freezing outside and I don't want to leave my house! I'm using this "indoor" time to get some of my crafting projects done. I'm planning on giving these necklaces for mothers day, but they would be perfect for birthdays or Valentine's day too. These are really pretty and cost less than $2.50 each!
What you'll need:
*You can use any shape/size/color pendant with coordinating glass pieces. Items at Hobby Lobby typically go on sale every other week. I NEVER pay full price for anything at the craft stores. You don't need much glue/glaze for this project, they should last you thru several more projects.
- Diamond Glaze (purchased at Walmart for $5.49) or online here for under $5
- E-6000 Industrial Strength Adhesive (purchased at Hobby Lobby with 40% off for $1.78) or online here for under $3
- 1" Clear Circle Glass Pieces 8pk (purchased at Hobby Lobby 50% off $1.99) or online here prices vary
- (8) 1" Silver Plated Circle Pendant (purchased at Hobby Lobby 50% off $1.24 each) or online here prices vary
- Photos printed on heavy duty paper or cardstock to desired size- make sure ink has dried a min 4 hrs.
- X-Acto Knife
- Rubber Mallet
Add a small amount of Diamond Glaze to back of glass circle. Spread around with tip of dispenser or toothpick. Press gently on photo to remove bubbles and hold for 30 seconds. *Note: do not wiggle it around too much as that will smear photo ink. If you make a mistake (or see bubbles), don't worry - Diamond Glaze is water soluble, you can wash off the glaze and paper from the glass piece and try again. Allow to dry overnight.
Step 2:
Using X-Acto Knife, cut paper and extra dried glaze from around glass piece.
Step 3:
Add a small amount of E-6000 adhesive to the inside of pendant (once this dries- it can't be undone) and press glass piece with photo into pendant. If needed, tap (may need a few taps) glass piece into pendant. Remove any extra glue/paper with X-Acto knife that may have pushed out around edges of pendant. Allow to dry 4 hrs.
Step 4:
Place pendant on any chain, ribbon, or key ring you choose. *You may need to add a jump ring to fit pendant on some chains. Done! Wrap and give as gift...or keep it for yourself ;)
UPDATE 9/17: My photo has not faded at all. I made my pendant about 4 years ago and it still looks great! The pendant itself is starting to tarnish a little. The pendant material you chose may have different results. Regular paper + regular ink and NO fading!
Special Thanks to Kristen Burrell Photography for the wonderful photos of my little ones.
I think this is a really great idea. Thanks for the details. I can't wait to try this. Thank you, Diane.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. Have fun and let us know how they turn out!
Deletewhat's the rubber Mallet used for?
DeleteYou can use the rubber mallet to tap the glass piece into the pendant without cracking the glass. It can be a very tight fit.
DeleteI have tried to get my photos inside the pendant and it will not fit any suggestions on this?

DeleteI want to make some of these SO bad, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to print the pics so small...I have an iMac computer & a Canon printer. Can anyone help me??
DeleteI went on photogrid and using the app i made a grid of 12 of my photo, so it made the picture tiny and instead of 1 i had 12
Deletenecklace
ReplyDeletenice!! :3 but it is not so difficult to find the material? :(
ReplyDeleteI purchased the Diamond Glaze at Walmart, but you can also find it online from a variety of vendors. The rest of the materials should be available at any craft store. There are many different sizes and styles to choose from.
DeleteI found everything online and at my local Michael's. I would never shop at Hobby Lobby. Great project!
DeleteCurious, what is wrong with hobby lobby?
DeleteThey probably disagree with HobLobs religious stances against certain forms of birth control.
DeleteGigi please keep your political views to yourself. This site is all for FUN!
DeleteThanks Gigi! That's great info. I refuse to set foot in hobby lobby as well so it's good to know I have an alternative.
DeleteAnd she didn't bring politics into it nor make anything less fun. She gave those of us who disagree with HL another idea.
Thanks for the info on Hobby Lobby ... I'll be sure to buy from them! Glad to know people stick to their beliefs! <><

DeleteI am doing this now with words from a dictionary as gifts for my bridesmaids, but found that the 1 inch size to be a bit big for an everyday necklace, so I am using a 16mm (5/8in) size. I couldn't find the glass pieces in a store either, so I got mine on Amazon from a shop called CleverDelights. I got 25 for $8.88, and it was Prime eligible, so free shipping!! I haven't gotten all of the materials yet, so I haven't started but I can't wait to see how they turn out!
DeleteWow, awesome deal!!!! Thanks so much for posting the info! I'd love to make these, but I'm not too keen on using a wire wrap type bail, and a glass gem thingy, well, for 2 reasons, the weight, and combined with, I'm not a big wire wrap person! Lol! I wouldn't trust it! If u get a chance, you'll have to let me know how they worked for you! Gave fun, and thanks again!
DeleteHobby Lobby offers coupons online (or your smart phone) every time you visit for 40% off any regularly priced item. I always shop Hobby Lobby! :)
DeleteThank you so much for taking the time to share this project I love it. My daughter just lost her dog of 16 years so I am making a bracelet with her puppies photos. She will just love this.
DeleteAlpha Stamps carries many of the pendants in all sizes and shapes even the glass part and it is very reasonable. They sell the chains as well. I was surprised at how cheap they were so for those who don't feel like making a trip to a craft store or Walmart, go to Alphastamps.com. Good luck!
DeleteHello. I LOVE LOVE LOVE making these necklaces. I don't if we can share links but I get all of my supplies at Lilly D's https://www.lillyds.com/ Her prices are about half the cost of what I was getting them for at my local craft store and much less than Amazon. Either way these are a blast!
DeleteThank you very much for this idea!
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome!
DeleteI have tried this with diamond glaze and modge podge and it always blurs the photo and ends up looking like my 5 year old made it. I tried the self adhesive seal-itz strips this weekend ad they work much better.
ReplyDeleteI've found that a lesser amount of diamond glaze and minimal fussing works best. Don't get me wrong, I've had plenty of ones that smudged, but since diamond glaze is water soluable, you can just wash up and start over. I always print extras.
DeleteThank you for the tip on the seal-itz strips. I'll be sure to give them a try. Any idea how well the seal holds up over time?
I had the exact same issue with the smudging I tried everything then just laminated the pictures first and they came out perfect
DeleteI've had great luck w the silicone liquid nail stuff that comes in a big squeeze tube that u find in Home Depot, in the tub and tile sections. I've made ink jet printout magnets with those glass gems and round magnets, and have great luck w that!
DeleteOh, and I'm not sure why I didn't put this here, but I use Mod Podge, a LOT for my primitive crafts, and make labels that I print out on my ink jet, I used to get the smudge too, male everything look pink or yellowish, and it drove me insane, then I read somewhere someone used hairspray as a sealer, so I thought, Hmmm.. Why not mod Podge too? I sprayed my print outs, and I even did some reeaaalllll colorful printouts, of mainly black and white, with some real strong reds, or blues, accenting the pic.... Not a thing smudged!!! I couldn't even believe it! So, I use that technique on everything I print out, even if I might not even mod podge it, just in case! Lol! The hairspray I use is kind of expensive only bc I bought it at a hair dressing supply place, I do have my license, I still paid around $6 for the bottle, but I use it for this only bc I don't like it, and its a Medium hold (Big Sexy Medium hold Silk Spray). I don't know if it matters, I know the article I read said Dollar Store hair spray was what they used, I don't if it matters, but that's what I will be trying when im out of the other stuff! Hope this helps someone as much as it has me!
DeleteI think this is a great idea. I want to make some right now, but I have none of the supplies. I have one question though. After the Diamond Glaze dries, does it still wash up? If the pendant gets wet, is it ruined, a loss?
ReplyDeleteSince the dried Diamond Glaze is behind the glass (and it should fit pretty tight into the pendant) a couple of drops of water on the outside shouldn't be a problem if wiped up right away. If you jump in the pool or take a shower with it on however, it will most likely be ruined.
DeleteVery nice idea! I want to make one too by myself.
ReplyDeleteBut where did you buy the left necklace or bracelet on the last picture? I really like that one.
You're referring to the chain with the leaves correct? That is actually a lia sophia necklace that is discontinued. I would recommend checking out ebay, sometimes they have discontinued styles available.
DeleteThanks! I was referring to that one indeed! I'm going to check ebay for it :)
DeleteIf you've not found the desired chain, I believe I've seen some similar (with the leaves) at JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts. Even if not, they have tons of awesome chains that are sure to please. I can't wait to make these four my daughters and one for myself with all 6 grandbabies on it! Thanks for sharing, Sarah!
DeleteI love this idea! This would be such a sweet gift! :)
ReplyDeletewhat kind of paper do you use for the prints? are they regular pics or is it computer paper?
ReplyDeleteI used regular card stock.
DeleteNever mind! lol just reread supplies. Oops!
ReplyDeleteI always have trouble printing photos to "desired size." Any tips? Like for example, what size was your original photo and what did you pair it down to? I would love to make these for my daughters. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteIf you don't have photo editing software, try using Word or Powerpoint. You can paste the image onto a blank document and use the ruler on the top and side of page as a guide for size.

Deletelove the idea your a wiz
ReplyDeleteReally cute idea! It is super scary how much the picture of your mom as a little girl looks like my 4-year old cousin! They could definitely pass for twins.
ReplyDeleteThat's so neat! That must mean your little cousin has those adorable curls - I'm so jealous! My mom did not pass down the curly hair gene.
DeleteWould clear tacky glue work in place of diamond glaze?
ReplyDeletePossibly. You would have to be sure the glue dries very clear, not cloudy, off white or yellow.
DeleteAmazing homemade present! I'm about to leave my house to go purchace materials and was wondering if Tacky Glue works the same as the E-6000 Industrial Strength Adhesive? please reply ASAP! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm really not quite sure if Tacky Glue would hold the same, but the E-6000 is only a couple bucks and holds EXTREMELY well. Hope it works for you and if you decide to go the Tacky Glue route, please leave a comment and let us know how it worked.
Deletewhat size was the photo you used?
ReplyDeleteI sized the photos individually using photo editing software and made sure that the "center" was approx 1" the same as the pendant. I could have cropped the photo prior to sizing, but wasn't worried about it.
Deleteis great but I live in Chile and here i dont have this things what can replace those thing?
ReplyDeleteHobby Lobby will ship international if you call them directly, but I'm not sure it will be very cost effective. http://shop.hobbylobby.com/service/shipping-information/
DeleteI just love it! Does anybody perhaps know where in SAfrica I can buy it?
ReplyDeleteI don't live in the US and am using ebay to buy my materials, you could check there
DeleteHobby Lobby will ship international if you call them directly. Here's the info: http://shop.hobbylobby.com/service/shipping-information/
DeleteI love the idea and am planning to make this as a gift for a friend. The only problem is I've read about a lot of people on other blogs/sites having issue with the diamond glaze darkening/blurring the photo used? Did you have this issue? Are there any reasons for it/ways around it?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I didn't have any issues with darkening at all. To avoid the blurring, I used a very, very small amount of diamond glaze and pressed it gently (trying not to wiggle much) and then let it set. Since these are tiny, I recommend printing off a few extra photos just in case you make a mistake. It washes up easy and you can start over immediately.
DeleteThank you so much for your quick reply, this issue has been giving me a headache all day. Looking forward to now finally buying my materials and getting started. Thank you once again!
DeleteWow! This is really a nice idea.. I also want to make some pendants like this... Thank you so much for sharing this with us.. Waiting for your next posts.
ReplyDeletetahlia diamond pendants
Perhaps printing the pictures with a laser printer would prevent any smearing. I took a class where laser prints were used with water based products and there was no smearing. I happen to have a friend who has this kind of printer. I think some of the office supply stores use laser printers for making prints.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if these can be used instead: http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/1-clear-round-fusible-shapes-331454/. My local Walmart has some exactly like these. Love your idea--and your whole site!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea you can make it as a magnet
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great idea. I have been trying to find a good gift for my sisters. I want share our memories of our mother who passed away in December.
ReplyDeleteI just finished a bracelet, key-chain and bookmark for my sister. However, I sealed my photos first. You can use any clear spray paint or photo sealer. I used a liquid photo sealer from Hobby Lobby. It recommends that you seal both sides letting dry in between sides. It keeps the pic from any blurring, running or discoloration. I have tried to use the pre-made glass domes in the past but had trouble with one or two in every package distorting the picture underneath. This time I used the liquid resin and poured my own domes. I got the dual resin and hardener plunger pack. It seemed kinda pricey when I purchased it but went a lot further than I expected. It only took half of the amount supplied to do all 6 charms (1/2" ea), a 1.5" pendant and a 1" oval bookmark and I had a little left over. I still have half of the plunger full for next time. It seemed a little scarey at first but with the plunger brand I used, the plungers are attached to one another so you just push on both sides with equal pressure at the same time. You mix in a disposable plastic cup with a craft stick slowly so that you do not create a lot of bubbles. Once I poured, the rest of the tiny bubbles just disappeared. It actually made the pictures look better than before I poured. It does take 6-10 hours to completely dry but the results were worth it. The brand I used is guaranteed to stay crystal clear and is self doming. I really am happy with the results and know my sister will be also. Just my thoughts and experience.
ReplyDeleteWow Eva - thank you for all the feedback! I love the tip about the photo sealer and will definitely give it a try. I think the liquid resin would be just perfect for odd shaped pendants.
DeleteI do a lot with mod Podge and bc I have an ink jet, I used to have a ton of issues w smearing and color distortion, but read somewhere that someone used hairspray to seal, and I tried it... Perfect, and much cheaper! Dollar Tree hairspray works great! And I also have made a ton of magnets this way, I didn't seal w hairspray first.. I didn't knkw about it then... But I used silicone, the one that comes in a squeeze tube, its for tub or tile sealer, just make sure it dries clear, and I used a LOT by accident, more than once, and have had my glass gem (I've used so many diff ones, from dollar tree to special jewelry ones, and never had a problem) slip, slide around, and the pic was fine! Lol! Luckily! Haha. I've never tried my hand at resin, its a bit expensive and bc I've never tried it, I'm afraid to spend the money and mess it up! One day, I'll just do it, thanks for the above tips tho!
DeleteForgot to mention that all of the supplies are available on Ebay. Just be sure to check your prices. Some of the sellers have their prices way to high for the same amount of resin and hardener and the bezels.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything that can be used instead of Diamond glue? I can't find the thing, nobody ever heard of it in this neck of the woods... I wonder if Aleene's Paper Glue Gaze can be used instead? I found it in the local Pat-Catans. Thanks for sharing this beautiful craft.
ReplyDeleteOK, I looked and found Diamond Glaze online—yay! The medallions are really tiny, but the final product is very pretty. I made three so far with just the faces from: Botticelli's Venus, a Pompeii fresco some believe to be Safo, and a Madonna from Sanzio. Fell in love with all of them, and won't part with them, no, no, no! OK, I'm calm... Now, for a little bit of my experience making these. It's a bit tricky to get the exact size--especially because they are so tiny. I suggest you save your tries in Word; once you find the perfect size, put all other images in the same Word page and hit save, so you will have a good reference for the future. (This stuff is definitely addictive, so you'll infallibly make more, believe me!) It seems the glaze makes the pictures a bit lighter than the original; no big deal though. After the glaze dries and you cut the excess paper, before you glue glass to pendant, you can try it to see if it will fit into the pendant; it's a bit tricky to get it out, but don't panic and it will come out eventually. The E-6000 is black (yes!) so when I first squirted it on the pendant I was afraid it would taint the picture; didn't happen. They look gorgeous. Thanks for sharing this nice project. Emilia
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're having fun making these Emilia! Thank you for all your wonderful feedback. Please share a pic of your finished product on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SavingWithSarah I would love to see them!

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such a valuable post. Your post help me a lot to explore Pendants for necklaces . Keep sharing such stuff in future..
ReplyDeleteLove! Hope we can feature this and you on our site!
ReplyDeletewill have to give it a try
ReplyDeleteHi! Is there anything instead of diamond glaze that I can buy? I live in the Virgin Islands and we don't have that many options for shipping or buying. I buy from Hobby Lobby all the time and would love to try to make these, but need something instead of diamond glaze since I can't find this at Hobby Lobby. Anything you would or could recommend from Hobby Lobby.com that could do the trick? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteVanessa, Someone above said rather than diamond glaze that they used a product called "Self adhesive seal-itz strips"...Hope this helps! :)
ReplyDeleteHELP~I'm in need of doing this with a small rectangular pendant, anyone know if they sell clear glass dome shapes other than the round? If not, any ideas on another way to seal the photo in something similar...Thanks Bunches, Terri
ReplyDeleteI've seen several different shapes in the craft stores. If you can't find one that suits your needs, someone suggested trying Seal-itz instead. I'm not sure what shapes are available, but hopefully you can find one in your desired shape.
DeleteI so appreciate you posting this - I definitely want to try doing this! What nice gifts they would make..
ReplyDeleteBut I don't have a printer...could I do this with regular photographs I have orimages I could cut out from greeting cards, etc.?
I don't see why not. I haven't applied the Diamond Glaze directly to a regular photograph, so I would definitely try it on a "test" photo first. If it has any discoloration issues, I would suggest laminating it first or trying out the Seal-itz self adhesives mentioned in previous comments.
DeleteI work at a photography studio, and we print thousands upon thousands of photos a year. We are using an newer technology for our prints. They are called Dye Sublimation, or a Thermal Burn. These photos are made up of 6 layers of dyed colored plastic pressed together with a layer of lamination over it. There is ABSOLUTELY NO INK in the photos. They are waterproof, fingerproof, smudge proof, even fade proof and guaranteed to an upwards of 100 years. We have been selling these prints for around 4 years now and have only had one time where it was returned due to a defect. You can purchase these prints at most Wal-Marts, (they are a little more expensive than your regular prints abut $5 for an 8x10, but well worth it). Just ask the photo tech for their "plastic" prints.
ReplyDeleteHey Sarah, these look great and I'm definitely going to attempt creating my own. I hope you don't mind but I used your photo and mentioned you in my blog post. It's not live yet but if you want me to edit it just let me know :) x

ReplyDeleteThank you Monica - glad you like them! Let us know how yours come out and feel free to share a photo on my facebook page! xxcharlou.blogspot.co.uk
DeleteIve ordered the pendants but can't get them before christmas :( such a lovely idea and thank you for sharing.....i would also like to say how you are very kind in answering everyones questions....just wish i could find a supplier in England :)
ReplyDeleteBummer you won't get your supplies in time for Christmas, but there's always birthdays and other holidays for the ladies! I'm always happy to answer your questions and so glad that you all enjoy these posts. Thank you.
DeleteFunny you have a hard time finding these items in England - I'm always wishing I could find some baking supplies that England has here :)
Sarah - I love this idea and want to take it one step further using the finished glass picture stones for a mosaic on a pot or frame. Any idea what effect the grout will have on the photo? I know the glass stones will be fine... thanks!
ReplyDeleteNot sure how it would hold up with the grout directly on the photo edges. I would recommend sealing the photo prior to applying the glass, stones and grout.
DeleteIf you don't have a photo printer at home could you print a picture that small and on cardstock at a local CVS or Walgreens??
ReplyDeleteI don't think you'll be able to get the size print you're looking for at the drugstore. I would recommend creating a letter size document (using your preferred program) with the photos sized down and saving it to a USB, and heading on down to Office Max or Office Depot. They'll be able to print it on any type of paper you like and may even be able to adjust the size for you.
DeleteGood idea .....would be a nice gift. I would pin this on my pinterest. thanks a lot
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this idea. I will be making a bracelet for my grandmother of all of her grandchildren. I do DIY a lot but have never done jewelry. I read through the comments and I was just curious about the type of paper you used. Did you buy a whole pack of cardstock? Do you know the cheapest way of going about this. I am only printing about 6 pictures.
ReplyDeleteWow! I am glad I stumbled on your idea. I am only sorry I did not find it a little earlier. My family lost all pictures and family keepsakes a few years ago during hurricane Katrina. I will be using your idea to create new family keepsakes from the few photos I had located in another state. I am sure my mother will love this as a gift idea. I can also make multiple gifts that can be passed down through generations to come. Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried this project yet but do have one concern. I have purchased the glass "domes" in the past and found that they aren't usually perfectly round. I imagine the pendant fitting is perfectly round. Have you ever had a problem with this?
ReplyDeleteDeb, you are correct. They are not perfectly round. This is where the rubber mallet comes in handy. You may have to tap them into the pendant fitting a bit. I noticed some were tighter fitting than others, but was able to tap them all in without too much effort and NO breakage. Hope this helps.

ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know how to get a charm on say like the leaf bracelet? Tia!
ReplyDeleteLove this. I'm going to do this with a picture of my mom who has passed away and wrap it around my wedding bouquet. I hope mine turns out as beautiful as yours did.
ReplyDeleteI found all the supplies on here for super cheap. It's an etsy user. https://www.etsy.com/shop/SunAndMoonCraftKits
ReplyDeleteSome sites say you can use the diamond glaze to glue the glass dome to the tray. Can that be done or is E3000 better to use?
ReplyDeleteI bought a huge tube of Plumbers goop at Walmart. It is the exact same thing as E6000 and I noticed it is manufactured by the same company as Plumber's goop. You got a huge tube for $5 pr $6. My sister saw my small tube of crafters glue of E6000 or E30000 and she looked at it and took her Plumbers Goop out and it even smelled the same. I called the company for a sample first and got it and then bought one at Walmart and now I use it all the time. Just a thought to anyone wanting to save some $$$ as the tube is so much bigger, has a bigger opening so it may come out faster but it is so worth it than buying that small tube of craft glue called E6000.
DeleteThanks for sharing! I tried this over the weekend and when I was finished the e6000 could be seen through the pic- it creates a spot through the picture. Thoughts? I used heavy card stock that was glossy on one side to print my pictures.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that. I haven't had this happen, my photo still looks as good as the day I made it. Did the spot appear after everything had dried, or immediately? It doesn't take much glue to hold the photo piece down, especially since the glass piece has to be pushed into the charm. If it doesn't work for you, it could be the brand of paper you used. I used plain heavy cardstock, not glossy. Let me know if any changes make a difference.
DeleteTry using Glamour Seal instead of E6000 and you won't have that "see-through" nor any toxic problems.
DeleteHi Sarah - Do you (or anyone else;) know how to print words on photos or pics? I would love to be able to do this. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely adorable! I would love to make some Christmas ornaments using this method. My twin sister and I are very close, so making matching ornaments for us to use on our tree wherever we are sounds wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing. ryansallglass.com

ReplyDeleteI just bought some 1" round bezel cups and some 1" round glass pieces to make pendants. While the square tiles drop right into the square bezel cups, the round glass tiles will not drop in. It looks like I would really need to either push them in or perhaps have them in. Do I have a bad batch or is this common?
ReplyDeleteI had several pendants where it was a very tight squeeze. I used a soft rubber mallet to bang them in.
Deleteafter you find the "right size" for your glass bits
ReplyDeletein your program you hit control copy
control paste (repeat all over the page for multiple images that match
if you wish to change picture inside use the edit button for change picture
this allows you to print a 4x6 with about 15 or so 1 " images for the 19cents
or an 8x10 with about 70 images
I also have used a clear acrylic spray paint to coat (4 or 5 light passes) this makes it more water resistant to the ink smudging.
Enjoyed the post and the comments.

I have a question where can I get the pics printed on heavy duty paper can I go to like a fedex place or where
ReplyDeleteYes, FedEx, Office Depot, etc can print on heavy duty paper, but you will most likely need to format your photos to PDF or JPG to upload on their sites. You could also take your photos directly to the store via memory stick or CD/DVD. You'll also want to make sure you've formatted them to the correct size before having them printed.
DeleteOkay so fedex did it for me and is there anything else i can use besides diamondglaze no store here has it so i got tacky glue would that work

ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful and meaningful gift! I absolutely love this idea!!! I want to try it soon! Thank you so much for sharing this idea! I would love to make some for my mom and my aunt with my grandmas photo in it. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteMy mother passed away in 2012 and two of my nieces were heartbroken that she was going to miss their weddings in a few months in 2013. My dad had passed away several years earlier. I surprised each of them with a necklace with my parent's wedding picture in an antique silver setting They turned out gorgeous. I simply used Mod Podge for mine, and I bought the other supplies on etsy for a couple of dollars, including postage! I got enough to make 8 of them, so made the same one for my daughter, myself and two of my sisters as well.

ReplyDeleteI know this is an old post but wanted to add that I found the easiest thing out today. I uploaded my photo as an print image into Cricut design space, if you have one, and then slice out a 1 inch circle around the image you want, after sizing it down of course, and then send to your printer and then put through your cricut. It does all the work and you end up with a print out 1 inch circle ready to go without any glitches.
